Spring Semester, 2009: Our schedule of holding “Primetime” or “Fusion” discussions in the Riess Conference Center at 8:00 PM each Tuesday evening during the regular class schedules CONTINUES! You and your friend are invited! Call our Chairman, Mr. Peter Hokana for more information, at 913-360-0401. Pastor Rinker will now hold an office hour in the Multi-cultural Center now on Tuesday mornings from 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM. Phone him for an appointment at 504-400-1675, or just drop by! Other times convenient for you are also available on campus or at the Church just by phoning us. Deaconess Angie Armstrong will also be available and she leads the “Primetime” discussions. As always, you are most welcome to attend our Adult Bible Study at the Zion Lutheran Church, 1924 St. Charles Ave, Sundays at 9:30 AM, in Moerbe Hall, and then stay for Sunday worship at 10:45 AM. NOTE: February 15 and February 22, there is only ONE event at Zion: Worship at 9:30 AM! Tuesday, March 24, 2009, 8:00 PM: NO DISCUSSION GROUP; SPRING BREAK. Roberston, Canon to the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church of the United States will present, “Leadership in a Time of Conflict: What does the Future Hold for the Episcopal Church in the US?” Sunday, March 29, 2009, 3:00 PM: Lutheran Student Association invited to “The Passion in Song” at Zion Lutheran Church. Two of the participants are current students at Tulane, one is an alumni! Tuesday, March 31, 2009, 2:00 PM Religious Life Council meeting, LBC. Tuesday, March 31, 2009, 8:00 PM, “Primetime” Discussion resumes at LBC, Reiss Conference Center. Tuesday, April 7, 2009, 8:00 PM, “Fusion” Bible Study continues at Reiss Conference Center. Tuesday, April 14, 2009, 8:00 PM “Primetime” discussion continues Tuesday, April 21, 2009, 8:00 PM Final “Fusion” and “Primetime discussions for spring semester Wednesday, April 29, finals week begins. Monday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 5: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Lutheran Student Association hosts private devotions for all students, Roger’s Memorial Chapel.
